Raising your voice when it matters most

July 2016: where do we start? While the US came together for two presidential conventions, the whole world watched as a series of tragedies underscored ongoing issues of terrorism and racial injustice.

As these events unfolded right before our eyes, you stood up. Whether it was speaking about #BlackLivesMatter, streaming live from the convention floors of Cleveland and Philadelphia or reporting from Germany, you made your voice heard.

Inspired by the many creators that took to YouTube to express themselves, this month we highlight a new set of comment-related features to help amplify your voice and spotlight
Kat Blaque, an activist bringing awareness to important, yet overlooked topics.

TOOLS TO HELP YOU
Comment moderators & more

We believe that anyone can have a voice on YouTube and our goal is to continue helping creators set the tone of their conversations online. That's why we’ve recently rolled out new features that give you more control over the comments on your videos. This includes comment moderation, which lets you give others the ability to monitor, respond and remove comments for you.
